Event Description

Learn how to recognize and respond to a choking incident, as well as what to do if the baby (newborn-12 months) is unresponsive and needs CPR. Get important tips about how best to avoid these situations as well as extensive baby-safety tips and car safety. Spouses, babysitters, and grandparents are all encouraged to attend!

Vanessa Anton has worked with families as a doula, a childbirth educator, and as a parenting educator for more 15 years. After completing her medical training in the emergency care field, she embarked on making CPR more accessible to families and started Common Sense CPR 10 years ago. Vanessa is a certified Childbirth Educator, Certified Doula, Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner, E.M.T., American Heart Association B.L.S. Instructor, American Red Cross Instructor and Child Passenger Safety Technician.
