Stargazing on the High Line

Every Tuesday from sunset to 30 minutes before park closure

Head to the High Line each Tuesday night for a walk along the park and a chance to take a closer look at the stars. Peer through high-powered telescopes provided by the knowledgeable members of the Amateur Astronomers Association to see rare celestial sights.

No experience is necessary and telescopes will be provided between sunset and park closure.

This High Line program is free and open to visitors of all ages. No RSVP is required. Stargazing is offered every Tuesday from April 2, 2024, to October 29, 2024.

Stargazing on the High Line is subject to cancelation due to overcast conditions or inclement weather. If a stargazing session needs to be canceled, we’ll post on @highlinenyc’s X feed by 3pm on the day of the event.

Location:

On the High Line at Little West 12th Street
